To view your data you first need to create a bar chart from an Excel spreadsheet. To do this . Select the Start Date column to highlight it. . Under the Add panel click the Stacked Bar option then Stacked Bar . By running these commands you can create a bar chart with horizontal bars from the left and start dates as the xaxis. Here is an example below. Gantt Chart in Excel Enter Your Time Data line to your chart to show the duration of your task. Here are the steps on how to enter your length data. . Rightclick on the table and click Select data Restaurant Email List from a data card . . In the Select data source window the Start date will be shown as a sorted string. . And then click the Add button under the Legend series entries and the Edit series window will open. . Enter Duration for the name of your series. . Next to Value click the icon next to it to open the edit window. When the Edit row window opens select the cells in the Time column except for the header and empty cells. You can also fill the Series values field with this formula TABLE NAMECOLUMNROW COLUMN ROW. Example New Projected When you have filled in the row name and value click OK to close the window. . Finally you will see the Data Source window again but now with Time added as a series. Click the OK button to add the line to your map. Data Duration Input Add Task Descriptions Open the Select data source window again to show your map task names instead of brown numbers. . Rightclick the map to display the Select data source window.
